About Us

kevin smalls kidney Transplant fund

The Kevin Smalls Kidney Transplant Fund, in collaboration with Weill Cornell/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, is dedicated to providing critical financial relief to families navigating the challenges of kidney disease. Established as a patient relief fund, our mission is to assist households facing hardships related to treatment, care, and the overwhelming costs associated with this life-altering condition.

For millions of Americans, kidney disease represents more than a health crisis—it’s a silent epidemic that disproportionately impacts communities of color. African Americans are affected at a rate three times higher than their White counterparts, a disparity often referred to as “The Silent Pandemic.”

At the heart of our work is a commitment to equity, compassion, and support. By addressing the financial barriers to care, we aim to ease the burden on families while raising awareness about kidney disease prevention and treatment. Through your support, we can provide hope and a lifeline to those most in need.
